Welcome to planDisney, Cassie.
Let me say how deeply sorry I am that you've had to make the not-so-magical decision to cancel your trip to
Walt Disney World. That's enough to make anyone turn into Grumpy (and with good reason!). Hopefully you'll be able to reschedule a trip in the not-so-distant future. When you do, Cassie, be assured that Mickey and his pals will be early waiting for you.
You'll be pleased to know that the value of any unused tickets can be applied to new tickets (you'll just have to pay any difference in price). So when the time comes, just give "
Existing Tickets" a call and a friendly Cast Member will wave their magic wand and help you out.
If you already have a date in mind for when you are planning to return, you can even change the date on your current tickets by signing in to your
My Disney Experience account. You'll then go to your "My Plans" page and scroll down to the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section. Next, you'll need to click on "Tickets & Memory Maker" to view your ticket. Once you click on the ticket, you should see an option to change the date of your visit.
As Dory once said, "When life gets you down, you know what you gotta do? Just keep swimming." There's still plenty of time to experience all the EARidescent excitement for the
50th Anniversary Celebration. In the meantime, you can stay up to date on everything happening by visiting
Disney Parks Blog or subscribing to the upcoming
planDisney podcast.
See ya real soon, Cassie!
Mike
