Hi Wes, How much should I budget per person for an average day at Disney World? Are there special passes good for multiple days? Thanks!

    Hello Karen!

This is a really good question!  For my family, we typically budget one snack and one counter service meal each day.  That turns out to approximately $12.00 for adults and $8.00 for children.  We use this as our basic budget.  We will also eat at least three Table Service meals during our vacation.  Over the course of the week, that will add at least $10.00 to the budget for each person.  So, adding all of this together (plus some extra money for souvenirs), we average around $25.00 for adults and $18.00 for children.  (NOTE:  We bring our own breakfast foods with us from home to save money, so this really helps us with our budget.)  As another option to help you with food costs, you can also check out the Disney Dining Plan.

Now, let's talk about Magic Your Way Disney Park Passes!  The basic Magic Your Way Pass allows you and your family to visit one Disney Park per day.  You can also add special features to your Magic Your Way Passes like the Park Hopper Option (going to multiple Disney Parks in one day) or the Water Parks and More Option.  My recommendation is to only purchase the basic Magic Your Way Passes.  It saves money and allows your family to focus on one Disney Park per day.

If you have more questions, please let me know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
