Hi Wes! Just how crowded are the parks the 5 days leading up 2 Thanksgiving? Is that a good time to see WDW dressed up for Christmas? And what kind of weather should we expect? Thanks & have a magical day!!!

    Hello Rebecca!

Experiencing the sights and sounds of Christmas at Walt Disney World is absolutely MAGICAL!!!!  I have vacationed at Walt Disney World at all different times of the year, and I would say my trip in November was my all-time favorite!

I will tell you the five days leading up to Thanksgiving is VERY busy.  I don't know if this would work into your schedule, but our family went the week BEFORE Thanksgiving week.  The crowds were minimal, and the weather was perfect!!  The temperature averaged about 75 degrees during the day.  At night, the temperature averaged around 60 degrees.  We just packed our light jackets in the backpack, and we were ready for the whole day.

For planning purposes, Walt Disney World typically begins decorating for Christmas during the first week of November.  They work like little elves through the night, putting up decorations all throughout the Disney Parks and resorts.  By the second week in November, many of the decorations are up and ready to WOW all guests, young and old!

I hope this information helps!  If you have other questions, please let me know!

Have a MAGICAL day as well!!

    Wes
