We’re staying at AOA in September in the Little Mermaid Rooms. Do you know how far the walk is from LMR to Animation Hall to access the transportation? Is it possible to request a room in a certain wing that might cut down on that hike? Thanks!

    Hi Donna,

You have picked an adorable home resort for your upcoming trip.  I just toured Disney's Art of Animation Resort last month.  I fell in love with this charming new resort.  I can't wait for you to discover the many tasty options in the Landscape of Flavors food court and the whimsical decor at the very cool themed pools.

I'm glad you are preparing yourselves for the layout of the resort and the location of your room within the resort.  The Little Mermaid section is the farthest from Animation Hall, the food court, and the bus stop.  You should always give yourself a little extra time (5-10 minutes) each morning as you find your way to Animation Hall.  It is a delightful walk through the Lion King section of the resort but it does take a little extra time.

The farthest Little Mermaid building from the resort's amenities is building 8 so I suggest you ask for a room in either building 7 or 9.

Have fun in September staying as one of the very first guests to stay in the Little Mermaid rooms at Disney's Art of Animation Resort!

    Jill
