We went to the whispering canyon cafe two years ago and loved the pony races, sing alongs and Ketchup fun! I heard they have ttonwd down these antics. Is this true? We have reservations there and my boys are expecting it to be like last time. Thanks!

    Hi Karen!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

My family also loves dining at Whispering Canyon Cafe. The fun antics really made it a unique dining experience that we always look forward to. As a Diet Coke addict, I enjoy the ginormous mug they bring me upon asking for a refill!

You are correct in that Walt Disney World made the decision to "tone down" the playful jokes and shenanigans by the Cast Members working there. I believe this was made in an effort to keep the noise levels down for Guests staying at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. However, I have heard from many friends that have been recently that the servers will still participate in the fun. You may want to tamper your expectations a little, as it might not be as rambunctious as your past experience. I would also suggest letting your server know that you would love for them to add some of the festivities to your meal.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions as you plan.
