We went on the western Caribbean cruise onboard the Fantasy in 2013 and had a fantastic time! We loved the pirate party and fireworks! I read that there are no fireworks on the Alaskan cruise. Is there still a pirate party? I could find no mention of it

    Welcome aboard, Kelli --

The Alaskan voyage on the Disney Cruise Line is definitely a different type of adventure compared to all the other cruise itineraries around the world. The picturesque splendor of Alaska is jaw dropping, and the weather, as brisk and cool as it is, pairs nicely with the beautiful scenery.

You did hear correctly... no fireworks in Alaska, but instead, you do get to enjoy the Disney Pixar Pals Party. Your family will be  dancing and grooving to the Toy Story inspired celebration. The place to be at on this special evening, will be right in the heart of the Disney Wonders' atrium. On select cruises on the Disney Wonder to Alaska this summer, Disney Cruise Line also has a great addition to its' entertainment lineup. Guests onboard will also have a chance to celebrate the Land of Frozen! All the Frozen fans will absolutely be delighted to meet the royal Princesses of Arendelle.

I hope this information is helpful, Kelli. Please do let us know if you have any additional questions that we can help with.

    Have a great day!
