Hi. i went to WDW in 2003 for school. I know alot has changed. Im now planning on going with my fiance, his son We are wanting to suprise him on christmas day as a gift and leave on the 26th of 2011. Any Ideas on how to save money and still have fun?

    Hi Kim,

What a wonderful surprise and incredible Christmas gift!!!

I am guessing that you already have your resort and park tickets.

You can easily stick to your budget while you are there.  First, have a budget and stick to it.  Budget for your meals and maybe a couple of souvenirs.
Other things you can do to save money would be:
-buy a refillable mug at your resort
-refill your  water bottle during the day
-visit Downtown Disney & Disney's Boardwalk which is free and fun to walk around
-stay away from empty calories- junk food will not fill you up.  Make healthy food choices so that you have a lot of energy.
-it is tempting to want to buy a lot of souvenirs, stick to your budget! Get only what you need.

You will have a fantastic time.  Try to video tape the moment you tell him that you are going to Walt Disney World.

    Thank you for your question!
