I went to WDW last year for the first time (I'm 26) with my mom, and now we are planning a possible trip to Disneyland in September. I loved absolutely everything about my trip to WDW. What things unique to DLR should I add to my must-do list?

    Hey, howdy, hey, Meghan!

Yeehaw! You're in for a rootin' tootin' time at the Disneyland Resort. While there are quite a few similarities between the Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort, you'll find many unique touches at Disneyland Park, "Walt Disney's Original Magic Kingdom," and its sister theme park, Disney California Adventure Park.

Fantasyland: New Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park in Florida may have many beautiful new views to enjoy, but the original Fantasyland hosts many of the classic 1955 attractions that you can find only at Disneyland Resort. Some off my favorites include Mr. Toad's Wild Ride and Snow White's Scary Adventures

Cars Land: Check your smartphone or ask a Cast Member when sunset will occur, marking the time of day to experience the iconic "Sh-boom" moment in Cars Land. Our family's favorite scene of Radiator Springs Racers is the moment the waterfall comes into view, just like from the Disney•Pixar movie Cars.

Avengers Campus: #LetsGoBeHeros in this amazing new land. You'll be able to help out favorite characters like Spider-Man and Rocket of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Entertainment: Don't miss world-class shows available only at the Disneyland Resort such as Mickey and the Magical Map and World of Color.
Dining: It doesn't get any more unique than being able to dine inside a classic Disneyland Park attraction. Reservations to the Blue Bayou Restaurant can be made up to 60 days in advance. Other dining locations that my family loves include Carnation Cafe, Carthay Circle Restaurant, and Salt & Straw.

I hope you find these recommendations useful, Meghan. I'm so excited for you to experience the Disneyland Resort. I'm sure you'll love the Happiest Place on Earth every bit as much as you did the Walt Disney World Resort.
