Micheal, hello and welcome to
planDisney. Thanks for dropping by to chit-chat about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.
October is a beautiful month to visit the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks, Micheal. The weather is still practically perfect for swimming during the day and you may need a light sweatshirt in the evenings when the sun sets. That couldn't get any better if you ask me.
The rapid refill mugs are not included with your
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel stay. You can purchase the mug for the length of your stay at the quick-service dining location at your hotel. These mugs run start at $19.99 and can go up to about $29.99 for a specialty mug. Please keep in mind that prices are subject to change without warning. The standard mugs are my favorite with a special 50th-anniversary design right now. The mugs come with a chip inside of them that tells the soda machine that you are able to have access to the beverages inside. When you are ready to refill your cup, you'll simply place your cup on the beverage dispenser stand, it will read your chip and you'll be able to fill it with whatever you'd like. When you purchase a refillable mug this gives you access to sodas, coffees, tea and hot cocoa whenever the quick service dining locations are open which is generally from about 7:00 a.m. until about 11:00 p.m. each day. The mugs are refillable only at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels and not at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks.
I have plenty of refillable mugs from past trips, Micheal. I tend to feel like they are well worth the initial price tag. My family and I like to enjoy afternoons by the resort hotel's pool that we stay at so we have access to the refillable drink machines frequently throughout the day.
I hope this helps, Micheal. If you have any other questions about this, or anything else, feel free to drop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Enjoy!
Jackie H.
