I went to make a reservation for a day and it is saying reached limit. So my question is do I call to change the day I get to visit the amusement park? How do I know if the park reached its limitation if I have to purchase tickets before reservating?

    Hello Juanita,

Thank you for bringing us your question, and it really is such a great question that you ask.

The happy news I can share is that the Theme Park Tickets & Reservations system is designed to address the very same question you raise.

Back in May, the Disneyland Resort combined the steps to purchase theme park tickets and the steps to make theme park reservations into the same set of steps.  With the new combined system, the whole way of buying theme park tickets and making theme park reservations was made easier because theme park reservations are made at the time that theme park tickets are purchased.

What this means, Juanita, is that if you just purchased new theme park tickets online or using the Disneyland Resort mobile app, then you should be all set with your theme park tickets and your theme park reservations. You should be able to see your theme park reservations using the My Theme Park Reservations features in your Disneyland Resort account. You can also see your theme park reservations on the home screen of your Disneyland Resort mobile app. You can also use these same features to cancel an existing theme park reservation and make a new reservation based on reservation availability.

I'm hopeful that this information is helpful, Juanita. If you have more questions or would like additional help with your tickets, you can give a call to the Disneyland Resort Ticket Services team at (714) 781-4636 and talk with a Cast Member for assistance.

Juanita, here's wishing you a most magical day when you visit the Disneyland Resort!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
