Hello there, Brandy!
Welcome to planDisney with a great question. I am happy to hear you already have a new Walt Disney World Resort adventure booked for June. I am sure the countdown to your next magical Disney adventure has already begun!
Memory Maker is not automatically activated after a photo or video has been captured by Disney PhotoPass service. Although your entitlement is linked to My Disney Experience, you must
sign in to your account or use the
My Disney Experience mobile app to activate Memory Maker.
In my opinion, the easiest way to activate Memory Maker is via the My Disney Experience app. Open the app on your mobile device, tap the three horizontal lines at the bottom of the screen, and select
Photos. Then, choose one of your photos, and you should see the option to activate Memory Maker. After activation, you will notice that the watermark on the photos will disappear, and your memories will be ready for download. I usually activate Memory Maker on the first day of my vacation because I like sharing my photos with friends and family.
planDisney tip: Did you know you can use the My Disney Experience app to find the location of
Disney PhotoPass photographers at all theme parks? Open the app on your mobile device and tap the location icon between the home icon and the plus sign at the bottom of the screen. Then, tap the arrow right next to
Wait Times and select
PhotoPass.
It was a pleasure answering your question, Brandy. I hope this information is helpful and that you have a pixie-dusted Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
