We went to MK for our 2 day trip last year. This year we have 2 days for WDW, of course MK again. Would AK be a half day visit or whole day visit for my 4 and 2 year old? We are not purchasing the park hopper. Would like to get the most out of our trip.

Hi Courtney, thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I am glad to hEAR you are going to WDW with your little ones! Disney is ready for making a magical vacation for them.
Considering you have been to Magic Kingdom Park last year, I encourage you to spend one day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. The place is beautiful, a lot of animals and nature. Kids have tons of fun! There are some “must-do” attractions, such as Kilimanjaro Safaris, Finding Nemo – The Musical, Festival of the Lion King and Flights of Wonder. My little daughter likes to spend at least one hour playing at The Boneyard, a special play area for little kids. You can also consider a character dining experience at Tusker House Restaurant, where you can meet Donald Duck and some of his friends for photos and autographs while you dine.
Animal Kingdom usually closes earlier than other Disney Theme Parks, so my suggestion is that after leaving the Park you go to Downtown Disney Area, for some extra fun. Nice stores and restaurants. A very good place for spending time with your family.
Hope this information helps your planning. Come back again if you have more questions.
    Have a pixie-dusted day!
