We went last year and purchased the resort mug. We used them some. Can we bring them with us and use them again this year without having to buy new ones?

    Hi Jacob,

Refillable mugs can be a great value, and my family generally purchases them on each trip.  They also work great back at home.  In fact, I like to count the moms on the kindergarten car line who have their morning cup-a-joe in their Disney mugs!   Mugs are intended to offer unlimited refill on (select) beverages for a given stay at a resort.  There is a  rule posted on the beverage dispensers at the resorts which states, "Refillable mugs may be used at the resort where they were purchased, during the stay that they were purchased."   I will say that, in practice, you will see many guests who are either unaware of or choose to ignore this rule, using mugs from previous stays or other resorts, however, this is not what the mugs are intended for.  Disney also changes the design of the mugs on a regular basis, so depending upon when you travelled last, your old mugs may not resemble those currently for sale.

    Have a great trip!
