Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Linlee. Thanks for stopping by with your question.
Linlee, my family and I visit
Walt Disney World the week of Christmas each year. The theme parks are all dressed up in their holiday best and it is so festive and fun!
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party runs select nights at Magic Kingdom Park from November 8th until December 22nd this year. After that last party, some of the holiday festivities that can be found at the party will be available for all Guests visiting Magic Kingdom Park to enjoy. This is how it has been for quite some time so I am wondering if the dates that you visited last fell after the last Christmas party. Typically, after that last party, you can enjoy the Christmas parade and the holiday firework show each night for the rest of the holiday season.
Something you can enjoy for free during those first few days of your trip while the Christmas party is still going on is the
Christmas Tree Stroll found at Disney Springs. My family and I add this to our itinerary every year, we love it! There are many Christmas trees uniquely decorated and scattered all around Disney Springs. I love admiring the theme of each tree and picking out a favorite for the year. There is also a scavenger hunt to find all of the trees with a small prize at the end. You can pick up the Christmas Tree Stroll map and stickers at several restaurants and shops.
I hope this helps give you some ideas for holiday fun while you are visiting, Linlee. If you have any other questions about this, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help.
Happy holidays!
Jackie H.
