Hi Abby,
What a fun question! I love talking Disney Dining and consider myself lucky enough to have dined at dozens of locations. Our kids are ages 6 & 8, so I understand the need to look for exciting venues. Epcot offers so many wonderful opportunities to not only enjoy expansive menus, but to engage the kids in different cultures and experiences.
Teppan Edo and
Biergarten come to mind. Both offer great entertainment and delicious menu items appealing to all ages. Click on the links above to learn more!
Hollywood & Vine offers Character Dining during breakfast or lunch at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Although subject to change, currently June from Little Einsteins, Jake the Never Land Pirate, Handy Manny and Special Agent Oso greet guests during these meals, and are known to cause quite the ruckus! Our kids have loved dancing along with their Disney Junior favorites here.
Are you considering dining with princesses? I'd suggest Cinderella's Royal Table or Akershus Royal Banquet Hall for a simply magical experience. Not to worry, the "princes" in your party are offered special attention, too!
Please don't forget about all of the wonderful options at the Disney Resort Hotels. Whispering Canyon Cafe, 'Ohana and Boma are a few of our family's favorites. Traveling to the resorts and exploring the savanna at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, for instance, is one of the many reasons I love dining outside of the Parks.
I'm limited in space, Abby, but please do not forget to book your Advanced Dining Reservations online or by calling 407-939-3463 as early as 180-days prior to arrival.
