Went to DW 1/08 going back 1/10. Husband has business in Orlando early Oct. Thinking of tagging along and taking DDs (4 & 9mos) to MNSSHP. Is it worth the money and will we have enough time to do a lot of rides, character greets, etc?

That sounds like the perfect "tag-a-long" trip to me!  If the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party takes place during your visit and you are able to get tickets for this I think it is a perfect evening for you and the kids!

Although not all attractions are open during this event there are many that you can enjoy and almost all of Fantasyland is operating which is where your children would want to be in any case.  There are many trick or treat stations located through-out the park and the Halloween themed parade and fireworks are spectacular.  My grandson (3yrs) also loves dancing the night away in Fantasyland with various characters.  That area is located behind the carrousel.

I love this event and feel you will have enough time to enjoy attractions, characters, parade, fireworks and more!
