We went to Disneyland over spring break with our kids this year and now all we want to do is go back! We were wondering how crazy it is the week of Thanksgiving or if we should plan for another time?

    Hello, Stephanie,

I definitely know the feeling. Our family’s Spring Break vacation to the Disneyland Resort this year was amazing too! We could not wait to find a great time to get back to the Happiest Place on Earth!

I’ve been to the Disneyland Resort a few different times the week of Thanksgiving. I’m not going to lie. It can be pretty busy that week. But it’s not the busiest I’ve seen it. And with Disney MaxPass to help manage Disney FASTPASS and to track those vacation memories with the included Disney PhotoPass downloads, Thanksgiving can actually be a fantastic time to vacation at the Disneyland Resort. For one thing, imagine not having to cook or clean! And since the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort will be in full swing by then, it’s also the Merriest Place on Earth!

If you plan on having a large meal on Thanksgiving Day, I recommend making a reservation at one of the many wonderful restaurants at the Disneyland Resort. For a unique, themed menu experience, I recommend the Blue Bayou Restaurant. For a more formal and quiet experience, Steakhouse 55 is a great choice. If you are interested in a more casual atmosphere, I suggest Storytellers Cafe. Wherever you end up, you’ll be thankful for your special time at the Disneyland Resort.

    Have a magical time, Stephanie!
