Hello there, Lou James!
Welcome to
planDisney. I’m sorry to hear that you weren’t able to visit the
Disneyland Resort as many times as you had planned last year. Now that
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park have reopened, I bet you can’t wait to get back to the magic!
The expiration date for many
theme park tickets that were purchased in 2020 has been extended through December 16, 2021. You can use the final entitlement left on your ticket from now until then, pending theme park reservation availability. Keep in mind when planning your visit that any previously-listed blockout dates will still apply.
To make a
theme park reservation using your ticket, open the
Disneyland mobile app and tap the icon that looks like three horizontal lines to reach the main menu. Tap "Tickets and Passes" and then the “+” symbol. Select “Link Tickets & Passes'' and you’ll be able to scan the barcode for the ticket with your smartphone’s camera or enter the ticket ID number manually. Once your ticket is successfully linked to your Disney account, select “Ticket and Reservation Details” and then “Make Park Reservations” to choose an available date and confirm your plans.
I hope this helps, Lou James, and that your long-overdue visit to the Happiest Place on Earth is pixie-dusted to perfection! Please stop by again with more questions as your planning continues.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
