we went to Disneyland in 2013 and we got the glow with the show ears. we are going again in july. can we use the same hats or will we need new ones.

    Hi Guadalupe!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so excited you get to return to the Happiest Place on Earth soon. Quite a few exciting things have happened at the Disneyland Resort since your last visit. This summer you will be able to experience the brand new Pixar Pier attractions, dining, and Character experiences at Disney California Adventure Park. You will also be blown away by the beautiful enhancements that have happened along Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland Park.

I love that you have still held on to your "Glow with the Show" ears from your 2013 trip. Disneyland has really expanded their Made with Magic merchandise line, and it's so fun to see these all light up in unison during select nighttime spectaculars. All original Made with Magic accessories will still interact with the shows today as long as the batteries still work. The only thing the original hats will not do is interact at home with the Color Remote on the Shop Disney Parks mobile app, which is specifically for the Made with Magic 3.0 hats.

Please return if you have any other questions as you plan your magical vacation!
