We went to Disney World 6 years ago and have moved since that time. For the life of me, I cannot locate our magic bands-are we able to get new ones?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melinda!

What did we ever do in a time before MagicBands? I'm headed on vacation this week and I know when I get home I'm going to be tapping my wrist to try to unlock my front door and pay for everything I purchase. Unfortunately, real-life just isn't as magical as it is at Walt Disney World Resort!

If you've misplaced your MagicBands from your last trip, there's no need to worry. If you're a guest of a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel on your next trip, you'll get complimentary MagicBands as part of your vacation package! In fact, I think it's probably a good idea to get some replacement MagicBands if you've had the same ones for six years. You'll be able to choose from the solid colors or you can upgrade, at a discounted price, to a selection of MagicBands that feature Disney Characters and Theme Park designs! I admit that I have a pretty big collection but I couldn't resist getting the pink "it's a small world" MagicBand for my upcoming trip when I saw it in My Disney Experience a few weeks ago.

If you're not going to be staying at a Resort Hotel on your upcoming trip you can still replace your MagicBands for your vacation. You can order them in advance from shopDisney and link them to your My Disney Experience account, or you can purchase them once you've arrived on vacation. In fact, they're available at lots of locations outside the Theme Parks so you can link your admission to them right away. Check out the large selection at World of Disney at Disney Springs, or at some of the merchandise locations right outside the Theme Parks like The Outpost Shop at the entrance gate at Disney's Animal Kingdom, or at Mickey's Gift Station at the Transportation and Ticket Center, which is where you park your car to catch the monorail or ferry boat to Magic Kingdom Park!

I hope this answers your question, Melinda, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
