We went to Disney World this past May and had magic bands. If we were to go back to Disney in September 2020, would we receive new magic bands? I'm really hoping the answer is yes because my husband and son have "misplaced" their old ones!

    Hi Brittany,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We love having you stop in and ask questions.

One of the advantages of staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel guessed it...MagicBands! Yes, if you stay in one of these resorts, MagicBands are included in your stay.  Recently, you can even upgrade your MagicBands to specialty bands (for a nominal charge), so there are even more reasons to stay in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

Should you find those lost MagicBands, be sure to put them in a safe place so you can bring them with you for your upcoming trip.  As long as the batteries in them still work, you can use them for future visits.

While I have you here, please allow me to sing the praises of the benefits of staying on Disney property during your vacation.  You can make Advance Dining Reservations 180 days prior to your arrival for the duration of your stay, you may make FastPass+ selections 60 days prior to your arrival for the duration of your stay, free standard theme park parking is included, transportation throughout the Walt Disney World Resort is included, plus the aforementioned MagicBands.  Let's not forget Extra Magic Hours, too!

Brittany, not only do I hope you find those missing MagicBands, I hope you can select some new ones for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! See ya real soon!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
