I went to Disney so many times, but next April will be different I am going with my baby to celebrate his 1th Birthday!! I am planning to make a reservation at Chef's Mickey. Is there something special to decorate the place or order a cake?

    Hi Fabiana,

What a great way to celebrate your son's first birthday, I'm sure he will love meeting the Fab Five!  Before you go to the restaurant make sure to stop the front desk of any resort lobby and pick up a complimentary Birthday Button.  The celebrations can also be found in all of the theme parks as well.  If you are not staying on Walt Disney World property, these buttons are available in the lobby of the Contemporary, where Chef Mickey's is located.  He will receive even more birthday wishes, making the day even more special for you and him!

When you make your reservation for Chef Mickey's please be sure to tell the cast member that there will be a celebration in your party, and when you arrive at the restaurant, remind the cast member checking your party in of your son's first birthday.  Quite often, they will bring the person celebrating a cupcake and a card from Mickey and the gang!  You can order a specialty cake by calling (407) 827-2253.  These cakes can be ordered for an additional charge and all orders must be placed 48 hours in advance.

Thanks for visiting the moms panel Fabiana.  If you have any other questions I would be happy to help make your celebration even more magical. Enjoy Walt Disney World Resort!
