    We went to disney in Sept. and have another trip planned for may. Will we receive new magic bands or do we use the band's from our sept trip? What happens if I can't find our bands from sept? We let the girls play with them when we returned home:/

    Hi Rochelle,

    Your question made me giggle because my kids play with our MagicBands all of the time too!  I am glad MagicBands are waterproof because my 5 year old loves to wear his in the bath tub.  MagicBands have been an unexpected but fantastic souvenir of our vacations.  My children like to pretend they are filled with Pixie Dust power.

    You will receive new MagicBands for every Disney Resort hotel stay.  This means if you have a "split stay" in which you stay in two different Resort hotels during one vacation, you will receive new MagicBands for both Resort hotels.  There is more good news too.  All of your MagicBands remain active (unless you deactivate them or they are over 2 years old and the battery has worn out) and can be used interchangeably during your stay.  I have several colors and like to pack a few different ones each time I visit.

    So if you find your old MagicBands feel free to bring them along but it is not necessary.  You will have the ability to customize and order new MagicBands in My Disney Experience for your upcoming trip.
