Hi, I went to Disney this past September. I didn’t use one of the days on my ticket because my son was sick. Am I able to use that one day for a future one day ticket of equal or lesser value?

Hi There, Michelle! Welcome back to planDisney. We’re so happy to see you again!

Oh, bummer, I’m so sorry to hear that your little one wasn’t feeling well during your visit to Walt Disney World. I know it must have been disappointing to miss your day in the parks. The good news is that the fun never stops at Walt Disney World, and it sounds like you’re considering booking another visit! How exciting! I know the magic is always calling me back, and it looks like it’s calling you too!

Now, unfortunately, only entirely unused tickets hold value under your account. So, since you have just one day left on your ticket, you would not be able to apply the value toward a future ticket purchase. I know this is not the news you were hoping for, Michelle, so I do apologize!

If you do visit sometime soon and want to save a bit on tickets to make up for the day you lost, I always recommend skipping the parks one day so you can explore your Disney Resort Collection hotel. There is so much to do at each resort to fill your day with fun. For example, you can take a dip in the fabulous pools, grab a bite to eat at the delicious dining locations, or even take a walk around the stunning grounds to look for hidden Mickeys. So, while it may be considered a “lazy” day, it certainly won’t be boring!

I do hope I have been able to help you, Michelle! If you have any more questions, pop back over to planDisney, where we would love to help make your Walt Disney World Resort vacation as wonderful as possible!

    Until next time,
    Diana
