Ahoy there, Samanatha! Welcome aboard planDisney. It seems every time I set sail with Captains Mickey and Minnie Mouse about halfway through the voyage I start thinking about my next Disney Cruise Line adventure. Those thoughts are accompanied by calculations and calendars to assess when we will sail the "briny blue" again.
In evaluating the costs, we routinely make a
placeholder reservation in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App by placing down a $250 deposit (which may change in the future). The
Disney Cruise Line Onboard-Only Offer (aka placeholder reservation), is not stored or visible in the app even though you make the reservation through the app. To find out the terms of your placeholder reservation you will need to
contact a Disney Cruise Line cruise vacation agent. They will give you all the details.
In addition, you should have received an email shortly after your return to shore. It likely has a subject line that says something similar to "DCL Onboard Booking Confirmation for ######## - Tbd [insert last name on the reservation]." This email contains many details including the reservation number, the exact date the offer expires, and the terms and conditions. To take full advantage of the Disney Cruise Line Onboard-Only Offer you will need to begin your cruise on or before the "Travel By" date.
Samantha, I hope this information is the message in a bottle you need to get that next cruise booked. Please feel free to
write me back directly with any follow-up questions or for other Disney vacation planning tips.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories on the High Seas.
