Hi, I went by the calendar as to when is a good time to visit Disney. Booked our trip back in March for Nov. 9-15. Now the calendar is showing the next week highlighted as a good time to visit. What does that mean? Is Nov. 9-15th still a good time to go?

Hi Stacy.    You should be perfectly fine.   More so than in any other month, my family and I have vacationed at Disney in November.   If that's any indication of what we think about traveling that time of year, nothing else will!

We do this for two reasons.  First is the terrific weather this time of year.   Second, its due to the relatively light crowds you find the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving.    Given this combination, we make an effort to schedule our vacations during this time.     While I don't know what may be specifically planned for that week (possibly a convention or something), my experience is that crowds will remain reasonable throughout this time.   I do find that the "great time to visit" site, which is helpful in gauging potential times to visit, is updated regularly as Disney continues to highlight weeks where hotel availability may be greater.   However, the fact that you week is no longer highlighted should not raise any concerns.   Enjoy your upcoming trip!
