Wen my family goes to WDW the ages of the four kids will be between 5 and 16, where are good places to eat at that accept Disney Dinning Plan?

Hello Jennah!  I am so glad you decided to opt for the Disney Dining Plan.  My family and I are a foodies and we enjoy the Walt Disney World restaurants almost as much as the theme parks!

I suggest checking out dinner at 'Ohana.  'Ohana is located in Disney's Polynesian Resort.  Dinner is served all you can eat and family style which means it is brought to your table.  The meal starts off with bread, salad and appetizers like pork dumplings and chicken wings.  The main course consists of all you can eat chicken, pork, shrimp and steak that is cooked on a wood fire grill in the middle of the restaurant.  Side dishes are also served such as noodles and broccoli.  Your meal concludes with a terrific bread pudding topped with ice cream and a banana caramel sauce.  While you enjoy a wonderful meal there is dinning room entertainment taking place.  Think coconut races, the limbo and hula dancing.  Here is a tip, try to get a reservation for dinner one hour before the fireworks over Magic Kingdom begin and request a window seat.  About the time you are eating dessert the lights will dim in the restaurant and music will get piped in.  You will have a wonderful view of the fireworks right from your table!  It is incredible!

A really great character breakfast is Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House in the Animal Kingdom.  The food is my favorite breakfast in all of Walt Disney World.  You will find your standard breakfast fare like Mickey waffles and eggs but you will also find some African inspired dishes and my favorite cheese blintzs.  If you make a reservation for 10:30 you will get to enjoy all of the breakfast food but about halfway through your meal the buffet will change from breakfast to lunch allowing you to try the lunch items as well.  This is a really great way to maximize your table service credits.

    Happy Eating!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
