We(my husband and I) will travel with our two minor children 12 and 1 plus our 23 year old daughter. My question is if my husband and I want to eat a table service meal separate from the three children can they go one place and us another on same evening

One of the great uses of the Disney Dining Plan is that families can seperate and go to different locations during your vacation. This has always been especially great when several families are traveling together and they want the children to dine together at certain times.

Everyone except the one year old will receive a Key to the World card which is used when dining. It keeps track electronically of the meal credits you use.  This allows family members to eat at different locations.  Since your daughter is an adult I would not hesitate at all for her to take the two younger ones for a meal while you and your husband enjoy a romantic dinner at one of the great restaurants.  You can pick a meeting location and time if you choose to meet up later.  Or make an evening of it and include viewing of a fireworks show or Illuminations. Enjoy your upcoming vacation!
