Hello, Rochelle and thanks for dropping by planDisney with your question!
I'm so excited to hEAR that you're planning a multi-generational vacation. Some of my best memories at the Walt Disney World Resort are of watching my grandmother enjoy the Magic with my toddler. As my family ages, those Magical moments become even more precious and I hope you're able to soak in this time.
Now, Rochelle, as a Mom who just a few months ago sprinted from the line of
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind with my youngest son for an emergency restroom break, I appreciate your question! At the Walt Disney World Resort, the only attraction that I have found
with a restroom inside the queue is
Avatar Flight of Passage at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. On my last family trip, when my son needed to use the restroom while we were waiting to help StarLord save the galaxy, we spoke with a Cast Member who directed us to leave the line and then held our spot. Rochelle, my best advice would be to use the
My Disney Experience Mobile App to locate the closest restroom and
always make a pit stop before entering an attraction. However, if you find yourself in a precarious situation, as we did, please don't hesitate to speak with a Cast Member and ask for assistance. While I can't guarantee what help they can provide, I have found they try their best to accommodate needs as possible.
Rochelle, I also always recommend studying the park maps in advance so that if time is "of the essence," you'll be able to quickly assist your parents with locating a restroom. Take a look at this link that show restroom locations at each of the parks around the Walt Disney World Resort:
- RestroomsWishing you a very special vacation with your family. I hope you'll come on back to planDisney with any additional questions before your trip. My fellow panelists and I love to help Tinker Bell sprinkle that pixie dust!
