    Welcome new panelists! Wondering how much time to allow at Typhoon Lagoon. Want to go to HS for BPB and Fantasmic dinner package in 8/10. Don't need to do everything at HS as this is our 3rd year with 7 year old daughter. Never been to water parks! Thanks!

    Hi Mindy!

        Thank you for such a warm welcome for all of us new Moms Panel Members!  Typhoon Lagoon is an amazing Water Park. My son and I absolutely love both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach! For your first visit to Typhoon Lagoon, I would recommend at least 6-8 hours in Typhoon Lagoon because there is so much to see and do.  A great ride at Typhoon Lagoon to go on first is Crush n' Gusher, a water slide where you actually get propelled up and down hills!  This is a two to three person inner tube water ride and it is great fun for families. It is an extremely popular ride so that is why I recommend visiting it first. 

    Some other things not to miss:

    1. The Wave Pool--Be careful not to go in too far with younger kids because they are 6 foot waves
    2. The Lazy River--Relax and float all the way around the Water Park (this river is a good method to get around the Water Park--You just hop in an hop out when you want to get out at an attraction)
    3. The Shark Reef--Snorkel in a saltwater aquarium with all kinds of fish and even sharks (don't worry they don't bite)

        I normally head back to the Resort to shower and change, but there are also showers and changing areas right in Typhoon Lagoon.  If you were to leave Typhoon Lagoon around 2-3 pm that should give you enough time to go back to your Resort to change into dinner clothes and make it to Hollywood Studios for your Fantasmic Dinner Package.  If you make the choice to spend most of your day at Typhoon Lagoon, I'm sure that you will not regret it!
