I have been going to Weight Watchers for over a year and am getting very close to my goal. I want to be careful, so can I bring some WW treats to eat at the movies/shows? Also, are there any scales onboard, so I can track my weight? Thanks so much!

    Hi there, Charlene!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Your repositioning cruise will be here so soon and I know you are eagerly anticipating everything you have planned for your vacation!

First off, congratulations on the progress you’ve made to date and being so close to meeting your goal!  That is incredible and I think it’s awesome that you want to continue your journey while vacationing!  I love that you are thinking and planning ahead for your treats and desserts; that will make the temptations easier to navigate!

You are certainly welcome to bring on some treats for you to snack on throughout the sailing, but I also encourage you to be upfront with your servers about anything in particular that you would like.  My husband and I eat a fairly strict diet and they have always been more than accommodating onboard allowing us to enjoy our vacation and providing us with some special requests.  But if you’re looking for a splurge item, I highly suggest a bite of the chocolate soufflé from Palo or the bread pudding from Tiana’s Place.

If you enjoy working out, definitely check out the fitness center onboard the Wonder.  It not only has a variety of equipment and cardio machines, but they also offer some really fun fitness classes and even have onboard private trainers available.  Stop by Fitness Center during open house on Embarkation day to pick up a printed schedule of classes.  The walking path on Deck 4 is also a great option for getting some steps in and enjoying the views.  I know you can also find a scale in the gym; check the Navigator for hours.

Charlene, I wish you a WONDERful sailing and continued success on your personal journey!

    Happy Sailing!
