Hi Rhiannon! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! Let the countdown begin! You're only a few weeks away from arriving for a magical Walt Disney World vacation. I can't think of a better idea than spending a summer day at
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park. Between the thrilling attractions and relaxing experiences, you are bound to have an amazing day!
Besides the
Chairlift you mentioned in your question, there are no posted weight limits for any of the attractions at Blizzard Beach. You shouldn't have any issue riding any of the slides at this park. If you have any hesitation or are unsure about a particular attraction, simply ask the Cast Member stationed at the entrance of the ride. They will guide you in the right direction and provide additional information if needed.
I just returned from a visit to Blizzard Beach and had a fantastic time. My family loved riding
Teamboat Springs together, which is a whitewater raft ride that you can all hop on together (up to 6 Guests). If you have any daredevils in your group, a trip down Summit Plummet is the perfect thrill. Just the ascent up to the top can be a bit nerve-racking, but once you head on down, it's all fun from there!
Our favorite experience together was hopping on
Cross Country Creek. This is their version of a lazy river and is packed with relaxing vibes. There are a couple of surprises along the way, including the "melting snow" coming off the mountain. This was easily one of the highlights of our day, so much so that I believe we went around three to four times.
Rhiannon, before you head out, make sure to stop by to grab some
Mini Donuts by Joffrey's Coffee. These bite-sized treats are served warm and are delicious. You can add a dipping sauce on the side if you prefer, including a raspberry sauce that pairs perfectly.
Have a magical stay! See ya real soon!
