Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Justine. Thanks for stopping by with your question. Many Guests wonder about the same thing as they wish to have a fun, positive experience during their magical vacation.
There are no specific weight limitations for
rides and attractions at the Disneyland Resort, as it caters to Guests of all shapes and sizes. There are, however, minimum height requirements for several rides due to the design of safety restraints.
Some Guests may encounter a bit of difficulties getting in and out of seats on select attractions. For example, seats on the
Matterhorn Bobsleds are quite low and I’ve heard many Guests who are taller and bigger may find it uncomfortable riding this. Some turnstiles can be quite narrow as well. In my opinion, Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage is not my favorite ride, but my daughter absolutely adores it. I get nervous climbing the steep, narrow stairs and I find the seats to be cramped. These are a few things to keep in mind prior to your arrival since I want you and your family to have an enjoyable time at the Disneyland Resort. I suggest doing an Internet search for Disneyland ride vehicle to see articles and images to give you some idea of Guests’ experiences. If you have any questions or concerns when you’re at the Parks, you can definitely stop by Guest Relations or City Hall to speak with Cast Members.
I hope this information is helpful for you as you continue to plan your upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, Justine. If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to visit us on the Panel again.
See you real soon,
Kiki
