    What is the weight limit on the double Murphy beds in the 2 bedroom villas?

    Hey There, Ashlee!

    Welcome to planDisney.  It looks like you've already embarked on a magical adventure at Walt Disney World Resort –– I hope the last few days have been filled with plenty of pixie dust for you and your family!  I'm sorry that I wasn't able to answer your question before you arrived, but I'm happy to share a few about the new murphy-style beds that are being used in the Disney Vacation Club Villas for future reference.

    Disney Vacation Club has been hard at work refurbishing many of its DVC Resorts and one of my favorite parts of these projects ––in addition to the beautiful details in each room, of course –– has been the addition of murphy-style beds in place of a pull-out couch.  Not only does this sprinkle a layer of ease and function to these Villas, but these new beds also have a full-sized mattress for added comfort and a better night's rest.  With a little research, I was able to learn that the murphy-style beds are made by a company called InovaBed and according to their website, the Sofa-WallBeds that pull down over the couch can accommodate a weight limit of up to 1,400 pounds in the center of the bed.  Additionally, the small, twin-sized Flip-Beds that you'll also find in many Villas have a weight limit of up to 300 pounds.  If you need more information, I suggest reaching out to the InovaBed Customer Service department, which can be found on the company website.
