Is there a weight limit on Disney strollers? We have 2 children and the 5 year old is too heavy for most strollers. I guess we need to bring an umbrella stroller and rent a disney one as well. Any ideas on making storage on Disney strollers?

    Hi Amanda!

I'm not sure if there's a weight limit, but my children have been using the Disney double strollers for at least the last 5 years or so. Last year when we went, my daughter at 8 weighed about 68 pounds and my son (4) was about 32 pounds. The strollers are incredibly sturdy, made with thick, durable plastic, and isn't a stroller that can be broken down (the strollers that break down generally have the cloth seats, and subsequently, more suspect to not holding up extra weight). Both children were able to sit in the stroller comfortably (daughter only sat in when really tired), and even there was enough room for them to lean on each other and take a nap. There's a cover above their heads that actually was able to hold our bags when our backs started giving us fits :-)

I don't know if there are any pictures of the strollers on the Disney World site where you can see them, but you can go to Google Images and type in "Disney double strollers" to get an idea of how they look. Without question, they served both form and function for us...

    Good Luck!
