Ahoy there, Desmond! Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for sailing by before you sail away on Disney Cruise Line.
Per your
Cruise Contract, Guests can bring "a reasonable amount of clothing and personal effects, not to exceed 2 bags per person." So, while there is no weight limit for checked bags, I would consider what is reasonable and take your travel plans before and after your cruise into account. Your carry-on bags will be going through a security scanner, so they cannot be larger than 22 inches high, 14 inches wide, and 9 inches deep. Also, take a look at this
Prohibited and Restricted Items list to make sure you are not packing anything that will get your luggage held a little longer on embarkation day or an item confiscated.
Before you arrive at the cruise terminal, you will want to keep your
citizenship documentation with you in your carry-on bag because you will need to physically show it before you are allowed on the ship. I suggest keeping any needed medications, valuables, sunscreen, and cell phone charger with you as well.
Desmond, I hope you have a magical vacation on Disney Cruise Line! If you have any other questions, you can count on
planDisney.
Bon Voyage!
