Hi, we will be there in 2 weeks, I will be using a scooter as I am disabled but can walk a bit, I was wondering if there are places we can park the scooter for the times when I don't need it. Like for a few hours at a time? Thanks!

    Hi Stacy,

I hope this answer gets to you prior to you leaving for the Walt Disney World Resorts. While you will not be able to park the scooter at a designated section for touring, you can leave it in an area while you are touring that area. You will see stroller and scooter parking areas which is fine to leave your scooter there. I would then use the scooter to move from one area to another area.

For example, you are in EPCOT and want to tour the pavilion the Living Seas. I would drive my scooter to the Living Seas and park it. You then walk and enjoy enjoy the pavilion. Then when heading to the next pavilion such as the Land. I would drive the scooter to this area, park and tour on foot. You can do the same thing at the other four parks as well.

You can take the scooter on many of the pavilions like attractions such as the one mentioned above. More typical attractions such as Pirates of the Caribbean will have you transfer to a boat to enjoy the attraction. Cast members at the entrance to all attractions will assist you on how to enjoy the attraction best for you.

I know my mom and mother-in-law preferred to tour the way I described above as some of the queues have tight turns.

    Wishing a magical vacation!
