Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kimberly!
When planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, one of the first things I used to do was check crowd calendars online. I wanted to make sure the parks were easy to navigate and the wait times for my favorite attractions weren’t going to be too long. I quickly learned that with some solid planning, even during the busiest day, you can still enjoy the magic of Disney.
Kimberly, rule of thumb is that most guests will plan their visits around major holidays and school breaks. So, if you can plan on dates that don’t fall on or close to those popular vacation seasons, you will likely see lower crowd levels. Online crowd calendars can be helpful. But they’re not always accurate. Crowd prediction is not an exact science and with so many variables, it’s a guesstimation at best.
In my experience, the first few weeks of December have been a lovely time to visit.
The holidays are in full swing at the resort, but you’ll beat the guests might be waiting until school is out to make their visit.
Don’t forget, with some pixie-dusted plans, like pre-booking
FastPass+ and
advanced dining reservations, you’ll have a magical time no matter when you visit.
Thanks for stopping by! We hope to see you again soon.
