Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melanie! Congratulations on building your family and I’m excited to hEAR about your upcoming visit with your kids. I visited Walt Disney World Resort when I was pregnant with my daughter, and though I couldn’t ride many attractions due to my condition, I still had a great time!
There are no special offerings for pregnant guests, but I urge you to check out the
Baby Care Centers in all four main Theme Parks. This quiet retreat will offer you a place to nurse and/or change your 10 month old, shop for baby necessities, relax in the tv room with your kids or just have a moment of peace before nap time. I still use the Centers with my preschooler and grade-schooler as a pit stop and refreshing station during the hot summer days. If it’s your first visit as a family, be sure to ask either your Disney Resort Hotel Front Desk or ticket window about “First Visit” buttons that can display your vacation pride all trip-long. Be sure to stay hydrated and pay attention to ride restrictions if you have concerns. My favorite attraction for small kids when expecting are Dumbo,
the People Mover, Navi River Journey, Gran Fiesta Tour and Peter Pan’s Flight.
If I can help you find your favorite foods or offer other ideas for
traveling with preschoolers, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
