Hi, there!
Oh my goodness, Angela - there are so many things to be excited about in this question you sent. A honeymoon! A visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! A new baby on the way! It's my pleasure to give you a few tips for your upcoming stay.
You'll be happy to know that there are many family-friendly attractions in the theme parks that are perfectly safe for pregnant women. I visited the Walt Disney World Resort while pregnant a few years ago, and though I was a bit bummed to miss out on my favorite thrill attractions, I was surprised by how many attractions I
could experience! There are only about 30 attractions that are classified with an
Expectant Mother Advisory. My best advice to chat with your doctor about your specific pregnancy and the
attractions you'd like to experience during your stay. I'm very sure you'll be permitted to do more than just walk around and eat all day!
Be sure to stay well-hydrated. You're welcome to bring snacks and beverages into the theme parks, but keep in mind that complimentary cups of ice water are available at Quick-Service dining locations. Plan on a few breaks throughout the day too. Indoor
entertainment offerings, like Festival of the Lion King, are super great because they're nicely air-conditioned and give your tired feet a chance to rest.
I also recommend making an appointment for an Expectant Mother Massage at
Senses - A Disney Spa and Salon at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. What a treat!
Thanks for stopping by, Angela. I'm wishing you a magical visit!
