I will be about 19 weeks pregnant when we take my daughter to Disney World in May for the first time. Any suggestions or advise for me? I want this to be a trip she will always remember so I want to come well prepared. Thanks

    Hi Abbey!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I would definitely talk to your doctor before the trip.  He or she should be able to give you some great advice.  The good news is you will be able to enjoy the majority of the attractions at Walt Disney World.  Those attractions that are not suitable for a pregnant guest have signs posted clearly stating that.  I do suggest taking it easy and drinking plenty of liquids.  Walt Disney World can be hot and humid in May, though generally less hot and humid than the summer in Central Florida.  Some pregnant women have reported having swollen feet from all of the walking and the weather so keep that in mind.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
