Hiya Courtni - welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks so much for stopping by with your question for our team of panelists. We love helping Guests just like you plan your very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort vacations!
I'm so excited to hEAR that you have an upcoming vacation planned - how exciting! You'll be visiting during the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration, full of exciting new attractions, entertainment, food, and so much more - get ready to make some magical memories!
Speaking of memories, let me answer your question about
Memory Maker - Advance Purchase first. When you purchase and activate Memory Maker at least three days prior to the start of your vacation, you'll actually have access to all of your PhotoPass media from within 30 days of activation. This will definitely cover all of your planned visits to Walt Disney World Theme Parks!
For your
Theme Park Tickets, I think you have a few options to consider. If you purchase a standard, 1 Park Per Day 4-Day Theme Park Ticket, you currently would have seven days to use those four visits. If you add the Water Park & Sports or Park Hopper Plus Options to the ticket, that will extend your ticket's valid use window by one additional day. Unfortunately, there is no way to split those four days or extend a ticket's valid use window.
You might consider simply purchasing two separate 2-Day Theme Park Tickets, one for your first two days, and the other for your visit the following week. Alternatively, you may want to investigate purchasing a 6-Day or 7-Day Theme Park Ticket. You'll be asked to choose the first day of your ticket on a calendar, and will then see the full valid use window (dates shaded in blue). Remember that adding the Water Park & Sports or Park Hopper Plus Options also extends it an additional day, so play around with the options.
With Multi-Day Theme Park Tickets, the first four days are the highest cost, and additional days are significantly less expensive. For this reason, I recommend playing around with the various ticket options - you may decide that buying a longer Multi-Day ticket is a better option or value for your needs. Depending on what your other plans are, it may be nice to be able to pop into a Theme Park on one of those in-between days, even if it's just for the morning at
Magic Kingdom Park, or for an evening stroll around World Showcase at
EPCOT! No matter what you decide, make sure to make
Park Pass Reservations for each day you plan to visit a Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park - reservations are required along with valid admission media (i.e., Theme Park Tickets or Annual Pass).
I hope this information is helpful as you continue planning your upcoming trip -
please let me know if I can help answer any additional questions!
