    10 weeks to go! What is the best way to get to Mickey's Backyard BBQ if you are driving and not using Disney transportation? Thank you so much.

    You must be getting very excited for your upcoming vacation!

    If you drive your own car to Disney's Fort Wilderness resort, you will have to park in the main parking lot and take a bus from the Outpost bus stop to the pavilion where Mickey's Backyard BBQ is held.

    Another transportation option is to take the boat from the Magic Kingdom to the pavilion. If you are spending the day at the Magic Kingdom, the boat will probably be your most convenient method of transportation. After the BBQ you can take the boat back to the MK - it runs about an hour past park closing.
