Hello Taylor, and welcome to planDisney!
Wow! A two-week stay in the Most Magical Place on Earth sounds incredible. With the
50th-anniversary celebration underway, there's so much to zip-a-dee-do, and I'm glad you'll have plenty of time to enjoy it.
My family and I frequently split our vacation time between a couple of Disney hotels; sometimes it's because we decide to extend our trip at the last minute, and other times we just want to experience more of the
Disney Resorts Collection. Fortunately, Disney makes the transition between resorts simple.
If you're moving from one hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection to another, upon
checking out of your first resort, take your luggage to Bell Services and let them know where you'll be checking in later that day. A friendly Cast Member will tag your belongings, give you a claim ticket, and bibbidi bobbidi boo! Your luggage will be magically transported to your final destination. Be sure to keep any bare necessities with you; luggage transfers might not arrive at your second resort until late afternoon. When you check-in at resort number two, stop by Bell Services to see if your suitcases are with them or already waiting for you in your room.
If you're checking in or out at your Disney Resorts Collection hotel from an offsite location, Bell Services will still store your bags while you enjoy the theme parks. Isn't that wonderful? Keep in mind, the luggage transfer service I just mentioned is only possible between onsite hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection.
I hope that's helpful, Taylor! With a two-week vacation, you should have ample time to explore your resorts. My family and I like to spend one day at our resort for every two to three days we're in the theme parks. We love to relax, enjoy the pool, and
sit down for a meal or two at our hotel. Thanks for sending your question our way, and we look forward to seeing ya real soon!
