I have a weeklong reservation With Disney vacation club, am I able to add park tickets and after our tickets and put a deposit down for those?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Brittany!

You are as welcome as can be here at planDisney!  Thank you so much for stopping by with your question.  How exciting that you are planning a magical Disney vacation for your family of Mouseketeers.

Brittany, you are going to love your Disney Vacation Club Resort.  As a Member for over 22 years, the home away from home amenities in these Resorts have added so much value to our family trips!  The full-sized kitchens in the Villas and kitchenettes in the Deluxe Studios have allowed us to sit back, relax and let the dining table present our dinner (and breakfast!)  And the access to laundry has allowed us to pack less and have more room to take home special Disney souvenirs!

Brittany, you absolutely can purchase tickets for the theme parks any time prior to your visit, subject to availability.  Typically, in June, there are plenty of tickets available.  If you purchase date-based tickets, you have to select a start day and then have a limited window in which to use them but they do not have to be on consecutive days.  Additionally, date-based tickets do not require reservations at this time.

The Disney After Hours tickets can also be purchased at any time prior to your visit, as long as there is availability. These may sell out so I wouldn't wait until the last minute, as you may not be able to get them. However, I have a tip for you, Brittnay - if you find the tickets sold out online, you can go to the ticket window or Guest Services on the day of the event to see if any last-minute tickets are available. I recently did this myself for an After Hours event and was able to purchase a ticket.

Now, Brittany for both theme park tickets and Disney After Hours tickets, you won't have the option to make a deposit or put them on a payment plan. This option is reserved for Vacation Packages which is usually a Disney Resort Hotel Room and ticket package combination.  However since you booked your room with Disney Vacation Club Points, the tickets need to be paid in full at the time of purchase.

Once you purchase them, you can link the tickets to your My Disney account, so that everything is in one place.  If you don't see your DVC reservation in your My Disney account, you can log in to your Disney Vacation Club account, scroll to the reservation, click on the arrow to the left of your reservation date, and you will see the option to link it to your Disney account.  You will also want to ensure you do this so that you will have the option to make dining and Enchanting Extras reservations 60 days from your Resort Check-In date for the entirety of your stay, and so that you can make Lightning Lane Multi Pass purchases and reservations 7 days in advance of your Resort Check-In date for the entirety of your stay.

I hope this helps you, Brittany!  If you have any further Disney vacation planning questions, soar back here to see me, and I'll be so happy to help you.

    Magically Yours,
    Keri
