Hi, Elizabeth!
I'm happy to hear you'll be enjoying one of the upcoming
Weekend Getaway Cruises! What a fun way to spend the weekend - sailing the open seas with Captain Mickey. Disney Cruise Line is offering two of these quick getaways - a two-night voyage with leisurely days at sea, and a three-night cruise that includes a stop at the port of
Ensanada, Mexico.
Activities that require advance reservations are spa services, adult dining, and any Port Adventures you might want to participate in. Reservations can be made up to 75 days in advance for
first time cruisers. Just visit the "My Cruise Activities" section on the DCL website to make your reservations!
If your cruise includes the port stop, you can search and sign up for Port Adventures by visiting the
Port Adventures page on the official Disney Cruise website. Adventures are searchable by age range, activity level, and activity type.
Each day you'll receive a Personal Navigator in your stateroom - a listing of the day's activities and events. I always make sure to pack a highlighter so I can mark any "can't miss" events! There's a special section listing all the activities happening in the Youth Clubs, so you can see what fun is in store for your kiddos. No need to sign up for any of these fun activities, just show up and enjoy the magic!
Check in at the Guest Services Desk when you first board the ship to see if they are offering any ticketed Meet and Greets. Sometimes, they will give out tickets for line placement for these popular events.
I hope this helps! Have a magical cruise! - Diane W.
