I have weekday resident annual pass. I want to go to the international wine festival. All events are on the weekends. Is there nothing planned on weekdays? Please explain food sample vouchers and costs

    Hi Darlene,

I'm counting the time until the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. Just a few more days now!

You are correct that many special events, such as the Party for the Senses, take place on weekends. I'm thrilled to tell you that you'll also find lots to do during the week. In fact, my husband and I try to plan at least one weekday visit during the festival because the crowds are smaller.

We especially enjoy the daily Culinary Demonstrations and the Beverage Seminars, which are $15 each and a great value. You can sign up in advance online or check availability in the Festival Center in person.

And the free Eat to the Beat Concert Series performs three times a day each day.

Of course, the main attractions of the festival are the Global Marketplaces around the park, mostly in the World Showcase. Each has a menu of tastes and sips that range in price from about $3 to $6 each. You do not need a voucher; you can pay at each kiosk with cash, credit card, gift card or your MagicBand if it is tied to a resort reservation. We like to look at the kiosk menus in advance so that we can plan our taste around the world.

I hope you enjoy the festival as much as I always do. Please let me know if you have other questions. Enjoy!
