    the other week I went to oder the free vacation planning dvd cause the picture on the website showed it was for 2012 yet I got the 2011 dvd instead. My trip is in 2012, do you know when the new 2012 dvd will come out?

    Hi Ryan:

    Every year my family looks forward to ordering the new Disney vacation planning DVD, which you can do here. There is no specific date when DVD shipment switches over from one year's version to the next. If I remember, last year's 2011 DVD came out around early December 2010. It takes time for Disney to incorporate new themes, promotions, and pricing into their new DVDs. If you want to be certain that you always have the latest version, you can order a free copy every 4-6 months. Or if you prefer, you can monitor Disney-themed websites to see when new DVDs come out. I usually find that Disney does not tend to make big announcements about new DVDs, and I learn about new releases from the Disney online community.
