Is the week before thanksgiving a good time to visit? What are the crowds and weather like? We're used to going in late September but want to see the Christmas decorations. Are any specials usually announced for that time of year?

    Hi Carrie!
I think the week before Thanksgiving is a great time to visit! But, then again, I think ANY of the 52 weeks are a great time to visit! :)
Actually, the week you chose is typically a pretty "slow" time of year to come. The crowds are comparatively light and the weather is still quite nice (days in the 70s or better with cool, comfortable evenings). You are also able to enjoy the parks and resorts all decked out in their holiday best!
As for specials, there is nothing on the horizon as of this writing, but that is always subject to change.
I hope this helps and I wish you a Magical trip this fall!! :)
