Hi we got a 2week summer holiday weve paid for a dining plan but seen that when we are there its free dining will this be honoured Its 2 adults and 2 kids 14/7 when we go but ive had bariatric surgery and have a medical exception pass to only have kid meal

    Hi Lisa!

Welcome to planDisney. I'd be happy to help with your upcoming holiday. You must be counting the months until next July! There is so much to look forward to this year and beyond in the Walt Disney World Resort, and I'm thrilled you'll be part of it. Be sure to follow planDisney and the Disney Parks Blog on social media for updates as your trip approaches. Now, let's talk about your inquiry.

It sounds like you have already booked a Walt Disney World vacation package with a paid dining plan, so to take advantage of the newest offer, you must either cancel and rebook or modify your existing package to match the new Free Dining & Drinks offer. If you reserved your holiday with a travel professional, contact them and request a change to your current booking. Otherwise, you can cancel and rebook your reservation online through My Disney Experience or call Walt Disney World so a Cast Member can assist you. In your situation, I would contact a travel professional or speak with a Walt Disney World representative over the phone so they can note your dietary needs on the reservation.

Regarding special dietary requests, Walt Disney World will always work with you to make your dining experience comfortable. As soon as you sit down for a table service meal, your server will begin by asking about any allergies or dietary restrictions. At this point, let your server know your preferences, and you'll receive guidance on which items will work with your restrictions and dining plan. At quick-service eateries, you can visit a kiosk and order in person with a Cast Member who will review your options. Alternatively, you can use Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering to choose the entrees you like, including items from a kids' menu when available.

I hope this has been helpful, Lisa. Best wishes for a magical getaway, and if there's anything we at planDisney can do as your holiday nears, (like recommending some of our favorite restaurants!) don't hesitate to write to us again.

You've got a friend in me,
